ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

French Canadians

French Canadians are people who live in Canada, normally in Quebec province, who speak the French language and have a French culture. The French began to arrive in Canada more than 400 years ago and settled what is now Quebec. Today, there are many French Canadian people who still speak French, follow French traditions, cook French food, and listen to French music. Even though most of Canada speaks English now, French Canadians continue to celebrate their French culture and language.
