French West Indies

The French West Indies (also called French Antilles) are a group of islands in the Caribbean Sea that are owned by the French government. They are made up of several different islands, including Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy, and the French part of Saint Martin. The islands have beautiful beaches and lots of different plants and animals. The people who live there speak French and many are of African and Caribbean descent. The people of the islands enjoy things like music, dancing, and eating seafood. The islands are a popular destination for tourists.
