French braille

Okay kiddo, do you know what Braille is? It's a special way of writing for people who can't see. Instead of letters, we use little bumps called dots.

Now, French Braille is a specific type of Braille used in France. Just like how English has its own letters and words, French has its own too. So, French Braille has some different dots and combinations of dots to represent those French letters and words.

For example, instead of just having a single dot for the letter "a" like in English Braille, French Braille uses a combination of two dots - one on top of the other - to make the sound "a". It can seem a little complicated at first, but people who are blind and know French Braille can read books, write letters, and even use computers just like everyone else!
