Frescography

Frescography is a big word that means creating a painting on a wall or a ceiling like the ones you see in the old buildings. It's like magic!

First, the artist makes a design (like a drawing) on a piece of paper. They make it really big! Then, they take lots of little pieces of paper and draw the same design on each one.

Next, they put the little pieces of paper on the wall or ceiling where they want to paint the design. They use a special sticky stuff called glue to keep the paper in place.

After that, they start to paint! They paint over the pieces of paper with lots of different colors. When they're done painting, they peel the paper off the wall.

The painting that was on the pieces of paper has magically moved onto the wall! It's like a puzzle! The painting is called a frescography because it's put up on fresh plaster, which is a special kind of cement.

People love frescography because it can be really big and beautiful. It can tell a story or show something that's important. It's like having a storybook or a picture book on a wall!
