Friendly political wager

A friendly political wager is when two people make a bet on the outcome of an election. One person bet that their favorite candidate will win, and the other person bet on the other candidate. If the person who made the bet correctly guesses which candidate won, then that person wins the bet. If the person who made the bet guessed wrong, then the other person who made the bet wins the bet. Both people usually agree ahead of time on what the prize is, like one person buys the other a nice dinner or give them a gift. So, it's like a friendly competition to see who knows more about the election!
