Front and back ends

Front and back ends are two sides of a website or application. The "front end" is what you see, hear or interact with on a website. This includes the buttons, text, images and other items that you use to navigate the website or app. The "back end" is sort of like the backstage of a website or app. It's the programming and the databases that are used to make the website work. The back end makes sure that the front end looks and works properly.
