Fuero

Fuero is a type of special legal protection that people in some parts of Spain have. It means that if you break the law in a place where fuero applies, you will have different rights than someone who breaks the law somewhere else. For example, in some places, if you are accused of a crime, you have the right to have a trial in front of special judges, and in some cases, you might not even have to go to jail if you are found guilty. Fuero is a type of law that only applies to the people in the part of Spain where it is allowed.
