Fuerza Aérea de la República Española (FARE)
The Fuerza Aérea de la República Española, or the Spanish Republic Air Force, is like a big group of planes and people who work together to protect and defend their country from bad guys who might want to hurt Spain.
A long time ago, in the 1930s, there was a big war in Spain called the Spanish Civil War. During this time, there were people who wanted Spain to be run in a different way, and they fought against the government. Some countries tried to help the government, and some countries tried to help the people fighting against the government.
The Fuerza Aérea de la República Española was formed during this time to help the government fight the people who wanted to change Spain. They had lots of cool planes, and pilots who were specially trained to fly them. They also had people who worked on the planes and made sure they were safe to fly.
Even though the Fuerza Aérea de la República Española fought very bravely for their country, in the end they were not able to win the war. the people who wanted to change Spain were able to take over the government, and the Spanish Republic Air Force had to stop fighting.
Today, the Fuerza Aérea de la República Española does not exist anymore, but there is an air force in Spain called the Spanish Air Force, and they still work hard to protect and defend their country just like the Fuerza Aérea de la República Española did.
