Full disclosure (computer security)

Full disclosure (computer security) is a practice of revealing information about security vulnerabilities. It means that when a company finds out that their computer system has a vulnerability (a weak spot in their security), they tell everyone about the problem so that people can make sure it gets fixed. This helps other people make sure their systems are secure and it eventually makes everyone's computer systems safer.
