Full slate

Full slate is a term used to describe when an election has a lot of open seats or positions that need to be filled. It means that there are a lot of choices for people to vote for, so the choices are all filled up. Think of it like a whiteboard that has all the different positions or jobs listed on it. If the board is full of names, or choices, then it is a full slate!
