Funerary art

Funerary art is artwork created specifically for funerals or to remember a person that has died. It might include painted pictures, sculptures, or carvings. Funerary art is created to remember and honor a person, and to help people express their sadness and grief about the person who has passed away. Often, funerary art will depict the person who has died, or the scene of their death, or might be in the shape of things the person liked. The artwork is put on display at the funeral.
