Gems are jewels found inside the ground. They come in all different colors and shapes. They can be found by digging, or just from searching around on the beach or hills. When we find a gem it can be cut and polished so that it shows off its true beauty. Gemstones can be used to make jewelry, and can also be used for decoration and for healing purposes. Gemstones can also be valuable and some people like to collect them.
