The Grow Model is a way of helping someone make decisions and come up with ideas. It can be used to help make a plan, understand a problem, or solve a problem. It helps people take something complicated and break it down into smaller, more manageable parts.
Basically, it has 4 steps:
1. Goal: First, you decide what you want to achieve. This is the goal you’re trying to reach.
2. Reality: Next, you look at the current situation and figure out what’s happening now. This is the reality.
3. Options and Obstacles: Next, you look at all the different options that are available and any obstacles that you need to overcome to reach your goal.
4. Wrap-up: Finally, you look at everything you’ve learned and decide on the best plan of action. This is the wrap-up.
So, if you’re trying to figure out how to solve a problem or make a plan, you can use the Grow Model to help. Just remember:
Goal: What do you want to achieve?
Reality: What’s happening now?
Options and Obstacles: What options and obstacles do you have?
Wrap-up: What’s the best plan of action?
