Okay kiddo, so Gaelic Senior Hardball Singles is a game that is played with a small ball and a big wall. The person who throws the ball is called the server and they hit the ball against the wall. The other person, who is called the receiver, tries to hit the ball back against the wall before it bounces twice.
The game is played on a court that is 60 feet long and 30 feet wide. There are four lines on the court that mark different areas. The server has to hit the ball over the first line, which is called the service line, and the ball has to land beyond the second line, which is called the short line.
If the receiver doesn't hit the ball back, or hits it out of bounds, then the server gets a point. However, if the ball bounces twice before the receiver hits it, then the server also gets a point.
The game continues with the server and receiver taking turns hitting the ball against the wall until one player reaches 21 points. If there is a tie, then the game continues until one player is ahead by two points.
And that's Gaelic Senior Hardball Singles, kiddo. It takes a lot of practice and skill to be good at it, but it's a lot of fun to play!
