Galileo's Leaning Tower of Pisa experiment

So, long time ago, there was this smart man named Galileo. He wanted to find out if heavy things fall faster than lighter things. To do this, he went to a very famous tower in Pisa, Italy, called the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Galileo climbed up to the top of the tower with two balls. One was a big, heavy ball and the other was a small, light ball. He stood at the top and dropped both balls at the same time. Then he watched as they fell all the way down to the ground.

What Galileo saw was really interesting! Even though the big, heavy ball was much heavier than the small, light ball, they both hit the ground at the same time. This was really weird and different from what people believed at the time!

Galileo's experiment showed that the weight of an object doesn't affect how fast it falls down. This was a really important discovery and changed the way people thought about science and the world around them. And that is why the Leaning Tower of Pisa experiment is famous!
