Gallurese is a dialect spoken mostly in the Gallura region of northern Sardinia, Italy. It is a type of Italian language which has been influenced by the local Sardinian language, and thus has some unique features. It includes some words and sounds which are not used in standard Italian. For example, the Gallurese word for "Hello" is "Bongiorno", which sounds different from the Italian word for "Hello" which is "Ciao". Gallurese also has its own grammar, pronunciation and spelling rules, which are different from those used in standard Italian.
