Gansu

Gansu is a big place, kind of like a big playground, in China. It's very far away from the places most people know, like Beijing or Shanghai.

In this big playground, there are lots of things to see and do. You can see big mountains, long rivers, and even caves with cool paintings on the walls.

People who live in Gansu are called Gansu-ers (just like people who live in New York are called New Yorkers). They speak a language called Mandarin, and some also speak another language called Tibetan.

Gansu also has a lot of history. Some really important people in China's past, like Marco Polo and Genghis Khan, traveled through there. And there are even some really, really old tombs that are over 2,000 years old!

So overall, Gansu is a big, exciting place with lots to explore and learn about.
