Silk Road transmission of Buddhism

Buddhism was the religion followed by many people in the Silk Road region, which was an old trading route that connected different countries in Asia. People on the Silk Road used to trade goods and cultures with each other, so Buddhism was passed down along with these other goods. Buddhists would travel along the Silk Road, telling others about their beliefs and spreading Buddhism. As a result, Buddhism spread to many different countries, including China and India.
