Garba (dance)

Garba is a fun dance that people do during a special celebration called Navratri. It is a traditional dance from India and it involves dancing in a circle with lots of other people.

Before the dance begins, people will usually dress up in colorful clothes and put on special jewelry and decorations. They will also put on special shoes called mojris or juttis.

After people are all dressed up, they will all stand in a big circle and start dancing to music played on special drums called dhol. People will usually hold hands and move around in a circle, while their feet make fun, rhythmic steps.

The dance goes on for a really long time because Navratri is a nine-day-long festival! As people dance, they will take breaks to drink water and eat snacks like samosas or mithai, which are special sweets.

Overall, garba is a really fun dance that brings people together to celebrate and have a good time!
