Garnet Wolseley, 1st Viscount Wolseley
Garnet Wolseley was a man who lived a long time ago in England. He was so important that he was made a "Viscount," which means he was given a fancy title by the Queen.
Wolseley was very good at being a soldier, and he was given the job of leading lots of soldiers in important battles. He was very brave and smart, and he always had a plan for how to win the battles. He fought in many places all over the world, like Africa and Canada.
Wolseley also did other important things. He helped make the British army better by making sure the soldiers were trained really well. He also helped make the jobs of soldiers better by improving the things they lived in and the food they ate.
