Gastrulation

Gastrulation is like a game of Tetris. In the game of life, when a baby is first born, its body is made up of many shapes and pieces that fit together like Tetris blocks. During gastrulation, these pieces of the baby's body move around, squish together and fit together in different ways to form a more complex shape. This new shape will eventually become the baby's body!
