Gateleg table

A gateleg table is like a regular table, but with extra parts that can fold out like wings on each side. Imagine if you had a table that could stretch its arms out and become bigger! When you want to use the table, you can unfold the parts to make it bigger and when you're done, you can fold them back in to make it smaller again.

It's called a gateleg table because the extra parts on each side are supported by legs that swing out like gates. So, when you look at the table from the side, it looks like a gate with two legs on each side.

Gateleg tables are really handy because they can be small and compact, but still have the ability to grow when you need more space. They can be used for things like eating dinner with your family or doing crafts with friends.
