ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Geert Hofstede

Geert Hofstede was a Dutch psychologist and anthropologist who studied how different cultures think, behave and make decisions. He developed a way of measuring cultural differences called 'Hofstede's cultural dimensions'. These dimensions measure how different cultures view individualism, power, uncertainty and other aspects of life. Hofstede's research found that people from different cultures approach life in different ways and may have different values and beliefs. For example, some cultures might be more focused on individualism while others are more focused on group decision-making. By understanding these differences, we can better understand how people from different cultures interact and make decisions.
