ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Genealogy tourism

Genealogy tourism is when people travel to different places to learn more about their family history. They might visit their ancestral homeland or the places where their ancestors lived and worked, taking pictures, collecting documents, interviewing family members, and finding out anything they can about their ancestry. They might also look at old records like birth and death certificates, census data, and even immigration records to help piece together their family tree.
