ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

General Leibniz rule

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a really long multiplication problem? Like when you have to multiply two big numbers together and it takes you forever? Well, sometimes adults have to solve really long multiplication problems too, but instead of just two numbers, they have to multiply lots and lots of numbers together.

This is where something called the "General Leibniz Rule" comes in handy. It's a way that adults can make solving these really long multiplication problems a lot easier.

You see, when you have a really long multiplication problem, you can break it up into smaller problems that are easier to solve. And that's exactly what the General Leibniz Rule does.

It helps you to break up that really long multiplication problem into smaller pieces that are each easier to solve. And then you can put all the pieces back together to get the final answer.

So, in a way, the General Leibniz Rule is like a magic wand that makes multiplication problems a lot easier for adults to solve. Pretty cool, huh?
