ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

General judgment

General judgment is when someone is looking at everything you've done in your life and deciding whether you were good or bad overall. It's like getting a report card for your whole life. Just like how you get grades in different subjects at school, in life, you get judged on how you treated others, how you acted, and what you did.

When you die, some people believe that you'll go to a place where you'll be judged by a higher power (like God) and they will look at everything you've done in your life to decide if you should go to a happy place (like heaven) or a not-so-happy place (like hell). It's important to be kind, honest, and good to others in life because how you act and treat others will be remembered and judged in the end.
