Generalization error

Generalization error is when your computer guesses something wrong. It happens when a computer has learned from a certain group of things, like cats, and then tries to guess what another group of things, like dogs, looks like. The computer guesses wrong because it has only seen cats before, so it doesn't always know what a dog might look like.
