Genetic variation

Genetic variation means that living things that have similar features, like people or animals, can also look a bit different from each other. This is because everyone has many tiny instructions in their bodies called genes. Just like when you mix paints to make different colors, different genes can be mixed and matched up to give each of us different looks and traits. So, while two people might look the same, they might have different genetic variations and be a little bit different on the inside.
