Genetically modified insect

Genetically modified insects are bugs that have been changed with science so they can do special things. Scientists are able to put special genes into the bugs that make them resistant to certain illnesses, changes their color, or make them stronger. By changing the bugs, scientists hope to find better solutions to problems like disease and pests that hurt crops.
