Genomics of personality traits is when scientists look at a person's genes to try and understand why they have certain habits and traits. Scientists have found that our genetics play a big role in how we act, think, and feel, and that our genetics can be used to explain why people have different personalities from one another. Genomics of personality traits looks at a person's DNA to try to figure out which genes are responsible for making a person who they are. By looking at the genes that are linked to certain traits, scientists can better understand why certain people have the traits they do and why different people act, think, or feel the way they do.
