Geoffrey of Monmouth

Geoffrey of Monmouth was a monk from England who wrote about the history of Britain in the 12th century. He was the first person to write about a lot of the kings and heroes of England who lived in ancient times. He wrote a book called “The History of the Kings of Britain” which included a lot of stories about the kings and heroes who he said lived in Britain a long time ago. His stories have been an important part of English history ever since.
