Geographic distance

Geographic distance is how far away two places are from each other. You can measure geographic distance by using a map. The distance between two places could be measured in miles, kilometers, or even hours of driving. If you wanted to know how far it's from your house to the closest grocery store, you could use a map to measure the distance between the two places. That distance would be your geographic distance.
