Geometrical optics

Geometrical optics is a way to study how light behaves when it goes through things like lenses, mirrors, and other materials that change the path of light. Imagine playing with a flashlight and shining it through different objects like a magnifying glass or a piece of paper with a hole in it. Geometrical optics helps us understand how the light moves through those objects and how it interacts with our eyes or other detectors. It can also help us create and improve devices like cameras and telescopes so we can see better than we could with just our eyes alone. So, basically, geometrical optics is like playing with light and figuring out how we can use it to see more clearly.
