Geophone

A geophone is a device that helps us measure vibrations in the ground. It looks like a small cylinder and it has a cable attached to it. When something vibrates the ground, the geophone can measure those vibrations. We use geophones to measure things like earthquakes, explosions, and construction projects. The geophone sends the vibrations to a computer, which then uses the data to show what is happening underground.
