Geophysics

Geophysics is the study of Earth using physics. It uses things like physics, chemistry and math to understand how Earth works and what it looks like. Geophysics helps us understand things like earthquakes, volcanoes, and how mountains were formed. We use geophysics to help us find oil, minerals and water sources. Geophysicists use things like gravity and magnetic fields to find out what is underground. They also use radar to map and measure things like the Earth's core.
