George de Sand

George Sand was a lady who lived a long long time ago, during the 1800s. She was a writer and wrote many books and stories that people really liked. What made her different from other ladies during that time was that she liked to dress like a man and she had a boy's name, George. She liked to do things that men did like smoking and riding horses, which was not very common for ladies during her time. George thought that women should be able to do what they like and not be limited just because they were girls. So, she wore pants and did what made her happy. People were sometimes surprised by her behavior, but George didn't care and continued to wear what she wanted and write books that people loved.
