German Historical School

Okay kiddo, so you know how we learn about history in school, right? And how we learn about different groups of people and how they lived their lives and influenced the world around them. Well, the German Historical School is a way that some people studied history a long time ago in Germany.

Now, when we study history we usually focus on important events, like wars or revolutions, or important people, like presidents or kings. But the German Historical School was interested in something different. They wanted to study how regular people lived their lives and how that influenced history.
