German atrocities committed against Polish prisoners of war

Okay kiddo, so imagine two countries, Germany and Poland, who are not getting along. They start fighting in a big war. When soldiers from Poland were captured by the German army, they became prisoners of war.

Unfortunately, during this war, the German soldiers did some very bad things to the Polish prisoners of war. They hurt them, they killed them, and they made them do very hard work without giving them enough food, water, or rest.

The German soldiers did these things because they thought that the Polish prisoners of war were not as good as them. They didn’t respect them or treat them with kindness, like we should always do to others.

It was a very sad and scary time in history, and we don’t want these kinds of things to ever happen again. It’s important to always treat others with respect and kindness, no matter who they are or where they come from.
