German inventors and discoverers

German inventors and discoverers are people from Germany who invent things (like machines or tools) or who discover new things. For example, Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press, which helped people to print and share books and papers more easily than ever before in history. Carl Zeiss developed lenses improve the clarity and sharpness of what we see when we look through glass. Alexander von Humboldt discovered new plants and animals in South America, and Heinrich Hertz was the first physicist to prove that radio waves can be sent and received. Without their work, the world would be a very different place today!
