Germanic Iron Age

So, a long long time ago, there were some people who lived in what we now call Germany and other parts of Europe. They were called Germanic people. They were really good at making things out of iron, which is a super strong metal that's really good for making weapons and tools.

During the Germanic Iron Age, which was a time period between about 400 BC to 800 AD (that's a really long time!), these people were using iron to make all sorts of things. They made swords, axes, shields, and other weapons for fighting. They also made plows, which are tools used for farming, and lots of other tools for everyday life.

The Germanic Iron Age is important because it was a time when people were learning how to use iron to make stronger and better things. This helped them in many ways, like being able to build stronger houses and defend themselves better in battles.

Nowadays, we still use iron to make lots of things like cars, buildings, and other machines. So, even though the Germanic Iron Age happened a really long time ago, it still has a big impact on our lives today!
