Germanic king

Ok kiddo, so back in very old times, there were people who lived in a place called "Germania" which is now what we know as Germany. These people had leaders that were called "kings". The king was the person in charge of their kingdom, which means the area where they lived and all the people there. The king made important decisions and kept everybody safe. It was like being the boss of a big family. Sometimes, the king would go to war with other kingdoms to keep their people safe or to get more land for them to live on. The Germanic kings were very powerful and important in their society.
