Germanic warfare

Germanic warfare was how the people who lived in Germany a long time ago fought with each other. They had different ways of fighting depending on where they were from.

Sometimes, they would just use weapons like swords, shields, and axes to fight each other. Other times, they would ride horses and charge into battle. They would wear armor to protect themselves and try to make themselves look as scary as possible.

They also had something called war bands. These were groups of fighters who would go around together and fight whoever they wanted. They were very important to how Germanic people fought because they could be very effective in battle.

Germanic warriors were also very brave. They believed that dying in battle was the best way to go because it meant they had fought bravely. They also thought that if they died in battle, they would go to a special place where they could live forever.

Overall, Germanic warfare was a way for people to protect their land and their people. It was tough and dangerous, but the warriors were willing to fight for what they believed in.
