ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Gesture recognition

Gesture recognition is when computers are able to understand an action we do with our body, like a wave, a point or a nod of the head. Computers use sensors and cameras to “watch” us and when it sees us do a gesture, it can carry out an instruction like start a video or turn up the volume on the music. It's like the computer can understand what we want it to do without us having to type in a command or press a button.
