Getting to yes is a term that means coming to an agreement or finding a solution that both parties can agree on. It's like a compromise - both people need to agree before it can happen. For example, if you and your friend wanted to get ice cream but you wanted mint chocolate chip and your friend wanted strawberry, you could both get what you want by getting one scoop of each!
