Gezer

Gezer was an ancient city in Israel a long, long time ago. Imagine a place where people lived in little houses and walked around on dirt roads. This city was very important because it was on a hill where people could see everything around them. It was also a very important place for trade because lots of people would pass through it. Over time, many different groups of people ruled Gezer and they built things like big walls, gates, and buildings. Later on, archaeologists found all the things people made and left behind when they lived in Gezer. These things help us learn about what life was like a really long time ago.
