Ghost detainee

Okay kiddo, so have you heard of people being arrested and put in jail when they've done something bad? Well, that's not always the case. Sometimes, people can be taken by the government and held somewhere without anyone knowing. That's what we call a ghost detainee.

Imagine you and your friend are playing hide and seek, and your friend hides in a secret spot where you can't find them. That's kind of what happens with ghost detainees. They get taken to a secret place where nobody can find them or even know they're there.

The problem is, these people haven't done anything wrong or bad enough to be arrested, but they're still being held without any trial or evidence. It's not fair, right? And the scary thing is, nobody knows if they're being treated kindly or if they are being hurt.

It's like if someone was lost and no one knew where they were, and they couldn't talk to anyone to tell them they need help. However, in the case of ghost detainees, they are usually taken by the government as suspected terrorists, and it's not fair because it's important to be treated fairly and given a chance to speak in court.

So, it's very important that everyone is treated fairly and equally under the law, even if they're suspected of a crime.
