Gingering

Gingering is when someone puts a piece of ginger root inside a horse's bottom, near the tail. This may sound strange, but some people believe that gingering helps make the horse act more lively and perform better during shows or competitions.

However, putting ginger in a horse's bottom can be very uncomfortable for the horse and even hurt them. That's why it's actually illegal to use gingering on horses in most countries, including the United States.

In short, gingering is when people use ginger to try to make a horse perform better, but it's not a good thing to do because it can be harmful to the horse.
