Glass in green buildings

Do you know what glass is? It's a material that is see-through and you can look through it just like when you look through the window of your house or car.

When talking about green buildings, we mean buildings that are kind to our planet and use resources such as energy and water efficiently. One way to make a building green is by using special glass. This glass is designed to reduce the amount of energy that the building uses for things like heating and cooling.

The glass has a special coating that can control the amount of sunlight that comes into the building. In summer, it can block out some of the hot sun rays, which means the building stays cool without needing to use a lot of energy for air conditioning. In winter, it can let in more sunlight, which means the building stays warm without needing to use a lot of energy for heating. This saves energy and money too!

Some glass in green buildings is also made using recycled materials, which means it helps to reduce waste and protect the environment. So, installing special glass in green buildings is a great way to help take care of our planet and make the world a better place to live in.
