Glenmasan manuscript

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of a really old book that people wrote by hand instead of using a computer? That's called a manuscript! And the Glenmasan Manuscript is a very famous one that was made around 500 years ago in Scotland.

Now, imagine that you really like writing stories or drawing pictures. You might want to save your work in a special book to keep it safe, right? Well, that's what people did with the Glenmasan Manuscript. They filled it with all kinds of stories and pictures, and decorated it with pretty colors and patterns.

But the Glenmasan Manuscript is also very important because it tells us a lot about what life was like in Scotland a long time ago. It has songs and poems that people used to sing and recite, and it shows us what kind of clothing and weapons they used.
