ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Global Career Development Facilitator

Imagine you have a big box of toys, and each toy is a different job you could have when you grow up. Some toys are really exciting, like being an astronaut or a movie star. Other toys might seem boring, like being an accountant or a librarian. But you want to know which toy is the best one for you to play with.

That's where a Global Career Development Facilitator (GDCF) comes in. They are like a grown-up who helps you explore all of the different toys and figure out which ones you might like the most. They help people figure out what kind of jobs they would be good at and what kind of jobs would make them happiest.

A GDCF helps people with things like writing resumes, practicing job interviews, and figuring out what kind of education or training they might need for a particular job. They might also help people who are already working to figure out how to advance in their careers or change to a different kind of job.

So, in short, a Global Career Development Facilitator is someone who helps people figure out what kind of jobs they might like and helps them prepare to apply for those jobs.
